Have You Ever Lived in Support of Someone You Love?

On Sunday, May 20th, 2012, at the University of Michigan Depression Center Auditorium (4250 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, MI), National Alliance on Mental Illness of Washtenaw County (NAMIWC) presents a Special Screening of “A Sister’s Call” with Appearance by Co-Executive Producer, Rebecca Schaper.

Filmed over fourteen years, “A Sister’s Call” follows Rebecca Shaper’s journey to "bring her brother back" from the depths of his homelessness and his schizophrenia and to overcome the complicated family dynamic that comes with living in support of someone you love and who has a serious brain illness. Reception at 5 P.M. Introduction by Gregory W. Dalack, M.D., Chair of the U-M Department of Psychiatry. Film showing at 6 P.M. Discussion with Rebecca Schaper immediately to follow.
