Benefit Luncheon with Margaret Trudeau – Recap & Pictures

The Benefit Luncheon on October 14, 2010 for the Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Fund that featured keynote speaker Margaret Trudeau was a great success! 560 tickets were sold, leading to a full ballroom at the Henry Hotel in Dearborn, MI. The former first lady of Canada told the audience that, although she has suffered from bipolar disorder most of her life, she was diagnosed with the illness only a few years ago. Now a dedicated mental-health advocate, Mrs. Trudeau offered a message of hope for individuals with bipolar disorder through a balance of mind, body and spirit. The $200,000 raised by the benefit event are earmarked for genetic research to find a cure for bipolar disorder.
